I intend for a cork/whiteboard to go over the desk.
I'm not so sure about this one. There's lots of space to fill, but I'm not really sure how to fill it. Probably not this way, but with several smaller things. But really, what do I know. I'm a scientist, not an interior decorator.

Again, I have to say I think you have some good ideas. I guess my only question would be do you think the group of pictures over your bed would take up that small of space? I think your frames would proportionally be a little bit bigger. I don't know, that was my only real thought.
I think you're probably right. I was just eyeballing it, so the scale is probably off. In the next month I'll have the real thing to post.
Note that most people hang their photographs/artwork too high. So when you decide to hang your posters know that the general rule of thumb is that it should be eye level (eye level for someone in your height range).
